My black and white portraits honor the Military. Drawing on my own experiences, I use both these portraits and my written words to reach Veterans who are struggling with PTSD. My goal is for those who see and hear my work to feel motivated, inspired, and alive. My work honoring the Military remains black and white, but is equally powerful. Colors invite us to observe. Black and white pushes us beyond mere observation and forces us to think, to imagine, to see what’s behind the brush strokes.
