Memoir of The Unseen (mini series - 3/4): Not judging a book by its cover, is the true essence of dealing with mental health, with trauma, with the unseen scars, with life. Overcoming that takes more than meets the eyes, but once you do, the feeling, the freedom, it is, oh so good. Learning to let go of what once kept you afloat and embracing the growth within yourself, is the goal, it's my goal. This series depicts a time in life and through its simplicity and spoken words I'm overjoyed with the ability to remember and not relapse.

About the art: I can see inside of me, what’s buried deep in my soul, the dreams, the shadows, the sorrow, the struggle, the love. Everything is so clear now. I can see why so many dreams drifted away and people from my life drifted apart. All was lost for me. I no longer had the will to fight, dreams were not a part of my night until my grandma told me, “the pain will give you the strength to survive, but all I want is for you to live and cherish life. Smile and never give up!”

Original acrylic painting, on cradle panel (1/2), 8x8 inches, framed (1.5"), ready to hang
