Within My Heart

$300.00

Memoir of The Unseen (mini series - 4/4): Not judging a book by its cover, is the true essence of dealing with mental health, with trauma, with the unseen scars, with life. Overcoming that takes more than meets the eyes, but once you do, the feeling, the freedom, it is, oh so good.  Learning to let go of what once kept you afloat and embracing the growth within yourself, is the goal, it’s my goal. This series depicts a time in life and through its simplicity and spoken words I’m overjoyed with the ability to remember and not relapse.

About the art: There’s so much anger within my heart, and all I wish is to scream and cry. At times, honestly, I feel life has no meaning, it has lost its value. I wished I’d cut my veins and let the blood flow until I dried. I contemplated and tried suicide, but failed everytime. So I gave up, and it's been years since that thought crossed my mind, for the sparkle in my heart, now screams live, love, and laugh!”

Details: Original acrylic painting, on cradle panel (1/2), 8x8 inches, framed (1.5”), ready to hang.
