Who Am I?

$300.00

Memoir of The Unseen (mini series - 1/4): Not judging a book by its cover, is the true essence of dealing with mental health, with trauma, with the unseen scars, with life. Overcoming that takes more than meets the eyes, but once you do, the feeling, the freedom, it is, oh so good.  Learning to let go of what once kept you afloat and embracing the growth within yourself, is the goal, it’s my goal. This series depicts a time in life and through its simplicity and spoken words I’m overjoyed with the ability to remember and not relapse.

About the art: I was lost, in despair, unable to figure out who I was. withdrawing from everyone dear to me, I closed the door to my heart, pretending to be someone else while slowly dying inside. I still struggle, from time to time, with the idea who I really am, but I no longer pretend, I don’t hide behind a mirage wall.

Original acrylic painting, on cradle panel (1/2), 8x8 inches, framed (1.5”), ready to hang.
